Tournament Info

Sign up by March 8th to be considered in the tournament! DM "kirklands" on discord with who is in your duo / team name.

In order to play for money, you MUST PLAY ALL 3 GAMES

There will be a leaderboard for Hop Harmony and Eplegona. Wii Tenis will take place with a bracket format.

Tentative start date for Wii tennis tournament is March 8th. Format is best of 3, in-person in Blacker Lounge or Shimojolab.

The Final ranking will be a combination of your team rank in every leaderboad. For example, if you place 4th in hop harmony, 1st in e-plegona, and 2nd in wii tennis, then your final rank is 4+1+2= 7. Lower is better. Prize pool is $400 dollars!!! Reward distribution is tbd.

Context: The Shimojo lab is studying team flow state, and we are hosting this tournament to find skilled gamers to participate in our experiments! The best players will be recruited for the main experiments (and compensated 25$/hr).

What is team flow?
"Team Flow" is the social version of flow state. "Flow state," aka "getting in the zone," or even "locking in," is characterized by feeling completely absorbed in a task, actions seeming automatic, and time passing quickly. Team Flow is flow state but during an activity with other people, like playing in a band, dancing, playing a team sport, or playing one of these games!
